Our founder, David J. Peterson, P.E., IWI, has a wide range of experience as a registered professional engineer in the aquatics industry. He obtained his B.S. Civil Engineering with a concentration in water resources from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in 1995. But, his career in water and litigation support began in 1993 while researching failed polybutylene plumbing systems for class action law suits.
Peterson also has patents for various products used in the pool and spa industry. His expert witness services have included patent infringement, trade secret, construction defect, personal injury, drowning, suction entrapment, and other aquatic industry matters.
