Dave began his watershaping career in 1994 engineering large aquariums and marine mammal exhibits – essentially swimming pools for whales, dolphins, fish, etc. In 1998 he began working for a manufacturer in the pool industry where he designed and patented products including pumps, pool cleaners, wireless control systems and chemical monitoring and control systems. In 2004 he founded Watershape Consulting Inc. and has been the engineer-of-record for thousands of unique and challenging projects, elevating the entire industry through his creative ingenuity and formal training of thousands of students through his other endeavor, Watershape University.
