Planning and programming begin when a site is located, a project is identified, a budget is established, and a timeline is determined. For example, a client might suggest that he/she desires a swimming pool in their backyard for less than $200,000 in the next twelve months.
With a purpose and direction we begin with a written program, or document that summarizes the project parameters and guides the team for planning purposes. Code compliance can also be reviewed here to help ensure that our concepts don’t go too far in a direction that can never be built.
After planning and programming we proceed to the design phase.
